Over twenty years of experience measuring, structuring, and making strategic decisions in the geospatial and data sectors.
From field surveying to managing the geospatial division of a major energy company, including offshore operations and technical data governance.
Expertise forged through operational reality
My career path developed in stages, moving from fieldwork to executive management:
- Operations: Data acquisition, geodesy, offshore supervision, and 3D LiDAR. It was here that I saw firsthand the financial impact of poorly defined specifications.
- Management: Managing subsea survey operations in West Africa, followed by overseeing exploration data for a major corporation.
- Strategy: Global leadership of the geospatial division across all energy business units.
The insight behind Oktri
Most so-called "technical" deadlocks actually stem from governance issues: a lack of decision-making, the absence of a designated data owner, or a lack of alignment on definitions.
An efficiency-driven model
With no unnecessary overhead costs, I personally handle consulting engagements. When project complexity requires it, I mobilize a network of seasoned specialists in geodesy, hydrography, remote sensing, and GIS.
